HOW IT WORKS:
If selected, you will be enrolled into our 8 week free training program to be be held in downtown Toronto every Saturday commencing in early February.
Throughout the training you will not only develop your sewing skills, you will also learn how to operate your own business from home.
Most importantly you will have an opportunity during the training to actually work on paid sewing projects which will be brought you by the Darzee Team.
Following successful completion of the course, you will be:
Awarded a Certificate of Completion which you can use to help market yourself.
Provided through the Darzee Team a work space for you in your home where you will receive a new sewing machine and all the start up tools required for you to start sewing.
HOW THIS PROGRAM IS DIFFERENT:
You can work from home - making this a unique opportunity for you if you have childcare and/or cultural constraints preventing you from securing outside employment.
We will bring projects to you. Many people are very good at a certain skill but they're not always comfortable "selling" their skill. If you are successful in the program, the Darzee Team will bring orders to you.
Darzee is a unique opportunity and in its Toronto based pilot stage we can only accept 20 women into our program.
To be eligible you must be a Newcomer Canadian female who has been in the country for less than 3 years.
You must have intermediate abilities in sewing and basic English skills. Translators will be available during the training program where possible.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Welcome to Darzee
